Our Tennessee Adventure

Welcome to the H Family Blog. A couple weeks ago, Brian had to make a business trip to Memphis, TN, so we all went with him to visit my sister, brother in law and their precious baby boy. It was a really pretty drive to Memphis from our town in the GA mountains. We had a great weekend with Sean, Shannon and Silas - they were so kind to show us around the town. It was the first time we have met little Silas and he was the star of the weekend. Along with kissing their new little cousin, visiting the Memphis Zoo was the main request from the kids. It was really spectacular compared to the smaller zoo that we have frequented closer to home. Ethan and Allie are studying all kinds of animals in our homeschool work so they were interested in every animal in the zoo. The photo above was taken at the Mississippi River - at a little park which is right across the street from Shannon and Sean's apartment. You can see Arkansas in the background - it was very cool.
