Since the weather seemed to be holding out, Ethan and Allie and I went to see the Live Nativity at our church. It is our third year going and it was fun as always. There was a little misty rain but thankfully it was in the high 50s - not too cold. Our church choir sang several beautiful Christmas songs and the night of baby Jesus' birth was portrayed. The live animals and tons of hay made it feel more real. Since I have the privilege of carrying our precious new daughter this year, I have been struck with how Mary must have felt that Christmas night - that made me think of a song that is sung by Faith Hill called "A Baby Changes Everything".
